Paul McCartney, Elton John to perform at Diamond Jubliee
Paul McCartney will star in a musical tribute to Britain’s queen to mark her Diamond Jubilee, honouring the monarch’s 60 years on the throne.
Event organizer Gary Barlow (Take That) says the event will transcend multiple decades of music.
Other performers include Elton John, Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, Annie Lennox, Cliff Richard, Jessie J, and singer songwriter Ed Sheeran.
Madonna set to tour Australia in 2013
Madonna will go on tour from May for the first time in three years, starting in Israel before moving on to Europe, with legs in South America and Australia, where she has not performed for 20 years.
The 2012 World Tour will be the first since her "Sticky & Sweet Tour" in 2008 and 2009. Dates for the Australian legs and locations were not yet set and additional cities and venues are to be announced.
The announcement came just days after Madonna's halftime performance at the Super Bowl on Feb 5, with a record 114 million people tuning in to watch the glitzy, Cleopatra-themed show.

Lana Del Rey postpones Aussie visit
Lana Del Rey is in such high demand these days that the Internet phenomenon has unexpectedly had to postpone her forthcoming Australian tour dates.
The singer is yet to announce the re-scheduled dates for her two-show stint in Sydney and Melbourne, but all ticket holders will be granted refunds and priority booking for the new "more extensive" dates.
According to the Australian press release, "Lana is looking forward to her maiden Australian visit and sincerely apologises for any inconvenience caused."
