MADONNA celebrated her 52nd birthday with her family and D-list British celebrities on a London rooftop until 4am, and cost $100,000. One eavesdropper described the party as like a wake.

Guests were fed platters of quails eggs with caper mayonnaise, mini fishcakes, peppers and scallops, with more than $50,000 of champagne and cocktails. An onlooker told The Daily Mirror the guests looked miserable at the party.
